DO SOMETHING ! ..

“Responding to Climate Change”

Global climate has been changing and still continue to change.  Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions Climate change is caused by factors that include oceanic processes , variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics and volcanic eruptions, and human-induced alterations of the natural world; these latter effects are currently causing global warming, and "climate change" is often used to describe human-specific impacts.

To understand climate change fully, the causes of climate change must be first identified. Scientists divide the causes into two categories, natural and human causes. It is now a global concern that the climatic changes occurring today have been speeded up because of man's activities. So , why don’t we start or do our duties to God or to our Mother Earth . Lets start taking good care of it . Our Mother Earth is suffering because of our wrong doings. And now we are encountering some effects such as  volcanic eruptions, floods, green house effect, global warming and other calamities cause by climate change. We children of God should do something to stop the suffering of our Mother Earth . First and foremost of course is that we should have self discipline. We must know to how respect Mother Earth because this is our home, this is the planet where we are living . We should segregate our wastes properly ,plant more trees. be smart enough and save our Mother Earth.

Climate change doesn’t seem to slow down unless we take an action, and it will go worse. So all of the people should be aware of the matter before it is too late. "Take a course in good water and air; and in the eternal youth of Nature you may renew your own. Go quietly, alone; no harm will befall you." This is well said by John Muir

Looking Back

As I enter my I.C.T subject, I see my teacher that is so stress. So, I said it to myself that I should study harder in that subject because I can see in their eyes that they teach us through the day patiently and hardly.
Regarding to the activities and exercises into my computer subject, I can say that I had fun and I learned new things .During we're going to do an exercise. It is really nice to help my classmate who do not know what are the step they should follow first. And when we are said to do an essays or post something on our blogs . It is so challenging , because I have to experience or I really have to think more deeper on how to make my vocabularies in my essays in deeper words.
Sometimes problems and worries bothers me when I don't even know what to do sometimes. But these are not the reasons to make me down.
I addressed those things by asking guide to my classmates. I asked the help of my teacher to solve it. I listen very well and carefully in every instructions they gave. And this served as my key to unlock those troubles blocking my way to success.
Moving on, I will use all the teachings and learning's in my everyday life. It will served as my guide . All this things I have learned in my computer subject will always remain in my heart and mind. I will always remember the HTML tags :)

“SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubs for Sustainable Energy.”

Scientricity is the combination of Science and Electricity. That is base on what my classmate have  told me. The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC), the first and largest umbrella science club organization, in its 41st year of unfaltering expertise, proudly presents an electrifying September-long activity that will leave you charged up. With the theme, “SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubs for Sustainable Energy.”
Scientricity is like the use of Science and electricity. But if you look on the theme it’s main topic is about energy. Sustainable energy is changing the way the world installs solar power. Promotes the increase use and deployment of clean energy technologies and services as means to support economic development. Energy which is replenish able within a human lifetime and causes no long term damage to the environment . Sustainable Energy means is the long-term maintenance of our responsibility using the right way of our electricity.
Whenever you conserve energy , you do not only conserve money, you also reduce the demand for such fossil fuels such as coal, oil … etc. So , we should not waste energy ! Let’s conserve it ! It will have a good effect not only to us but also to our environment.

" My EDUCATOR , My HERO "

In our lives, many people will come and some will leave us, some will be remembered and some will be forgotten but there is one thing I assure you. I will never forget the person/s who acted as my second parent, who guided me for so many years, the persons who filled up my empty mind, persons who saved me from a wrong path in each day, and the persons who acted as my friend. Who I can trust with.
Some of us calls them a hero. They don’t have superpowers, they can not fly, they are not that strong but they are a hero in deed. How would our lives be without them, after all they never stop to fill us with knowledge, they are there to lend a hand to help us when we are stumbled, they are also good in giving a few kind words to comfort any heart. They are really a true hero. Look into the mirror and you will see the person that they have accomplish to become a better person. Being a teacher is not so easy because having this kind of profession was twice heavier than being a parent so too all of their efforts and sacrifices , thank you is not insufficient. It will take a life time to thank them. J
There will be No Doctors, No Engineers, No Lawyers. If there is no TEACHERS. Being a teacher is a heroic proffession. The future of the students depends on the hand of a teacher and in the students as well.

" MY SUPERMAN & MY WONDERWOMAN "

Talking about Modern Heroes ?  Oooh well , nowadays we can see in every corner  the person who we call our hero in our lives. They can’t fly like Wonderwoman , not as strong like Superman , not as fast like Flash . They don’t have weapons or even super powers, but they are a hero in deed. Which makes them very extra ordinary.
To become a hero doesn’t matter if you have superpowers  , if you can fly , if you are very strong. Just be ordinary . Be yourself. Because to become a real hero must be seen in your actions and deeds and the purity of your heart.
Each and every one of us have our Modern Heroes, they can be our teachers , friends , even our boyfriends/girlfriends or even the persons we adore like the actors/actress or singers. But , Hey ! If you are going to ask me if who is my modern hero , I’ll just put a sweet smile on my lips and tell very proud that “My PARENTS” are my true hero , my modern hero . Yes ! you heard that right , my parents. I know they don’t  have superpowers . But , Hey ! don’t get me wrong , for me there love and care that they are giving me is there best superpowers indeed. They are my first  teacher , they taught me how to walk , talk , how to be a good servant of God and a good person. They are also a good shoulder to cry on. And definitely good in giving advice.
I’m seriously proud of my papa & mama because they are working hard so that I can finish my studies and fulfill all of my dreams. They think first of my future. They also showed my worth here in this world and let me know that I am the best . Even though they are busy and very tired , they still find time to have a bonding with me and they never fail to make me laugh or smile. J
My Papa is my SUPERMAN & my Mama is my WONDERWOMAN. They are my MODERN HERO. My guide and my protector.

" Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino "

Speaking about languages? Well, here in the Philippines in which our country is divided into  three main division, Luzon , Visayas , Mindanao have different languages such as Tagalog , Ilocano , Bisaya , Bicolano , Panggasinense , etc… But the most used language here the Philippines is the Wikang Filipino.
Manuel L. Quezon gave an action about the problem in which some Pilipino’s don’t understand each other because they have different languages. So he proclaimed that Filipino is the National language of the Philippines . In which made Manuel L. Quezon the Father of Wikang Filipino.
There’s this Dr. Jose Rizal said “ Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa amoy na malansang isda “ , which is closely related to the theme “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino “ that we Pilipino’s must used, love and respect our own language. This language will be our sword in every battle.
I’ am proud to tell all over  the world that “ I CHESKA BERIDO is a Filipino “ J

Looking Back Into My Reflection

As time passes by, it has been 9 weeks since we’ve started our lesson in I.C.T in which  I learned on how to create a blog. I also discovered the use of blog in our daily life. I learned that blog can be also an online diary. You can  share and post you're experiences in your everyday life. I also discovered when did the Internet started and who are the Internet Architects, Philippine Pioneers and Software Pioneers .  From our subject, I learned new things that increases my knowledge regarding the said topic.
During those days of exploring the world of blog, I encountered problems that make me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes, I don't know what is the first step to do. And also I was left behind in posting.
But, I addressed this things by asking help or assistance on my teacher and classmates. And I ‘ve just used our computer at home so that I can post on my blog .
Moving on, I will put all these learnings in my mind in order that I can use these experiences whenever I need it. And I will continue posting in my blog.

Third State of the Nation Address of President Aquino III

It has been  12 days when President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his third State of the Nation Address at the Session Hall of the House of Representatives, Batasan Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.  President Aquino announced his achievements under his administration and provided some specific details, as well as the upcoming projects that he said will be completed before his term ends, in 2016. For you , are you satisfied on what he said in his third SONA? Is there something he forgot to say in his third SONA?

I must say as a Filipino , it was a great deliberation indeed but I have some comments about his third SONA, he tackles most of the things I wanted to hear from him. He was transparent that there are some projects that are yet to be done. But I must say I am quite impressed of what he has done so far. I also like his plans for the education sector. Hope he adds more budget there and also about the health care to the children’s in the public school. His administration is heading unto a brighter future. I am very satisfied on what he is doing or what he had said in his third SONA. President Aquino have forgot something to say in his third SONA, he forgot to mention about the OFW’s

All in all the message of his third SONA is positive that opened the minds of the public people that there will be a change to all that he had promised. So, why won’t we help our President make our country more progressed. Lets stop criticizing our President.

"Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw itong Ihain"

I  was ask to write something about the theme of the 2012 nutrition month, “ Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin , araw-araw itong ihain” , well according to google , vegetable are important protective food and highly beneficial for the maintenance of health and prevention of disease. They contain valuable food ingredients which can be successfully utilized to build up and repair the body. But why do we really have to eat vegetable everyday ? What can it give to our body ?
Many of us don’t like eating vegetables. Why ? Because some says it doesn’t taste good, and maybe some are tempted to skip eating veggies, after all many vegetable are tough, leafy and bitter. But did you know leaving veggies out of your diet can have some serious consequences, both nutritionally and physically. It leads you to serious disease and conditions in every part of the body. Not eating vegetables doesn’t guarantee that you’ll come down with a serious health issue, but it does increase your risk of quite a few conditions. According to MyPyramid.com , the USDA’s nutritional website regularly serving up veggies reduces your risks of kidney stone, bone loss, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer and high cholesterol. So, why not eat vegetables. There are also things that vegetables can give to our body , like it give’s our body vitamins, protein, minerals and the energy our bodies need. It also gives starch and fibers that form essential ingredients of a healthy diet.
So to all the mommy’s out there serve vegetables everyday to your dear children so that they will have a good health.

President, Republic of the Philippine
Malacanang Palace, Manila

Dear Mr. President:

I would like to greet you a pleasant day.Sir, I am a fourth year student of the Ilocos Sur National High School in Vigan City. In this letter I would like to express my deep concern about one of the problems of our country, the lack of jobs of many Filipinos. In our province , I've seen many Filipinos who don't have jobs.

It is because of the lack of companies here in the Philippines and some don't have jobs because they did not finished their studies. So, I would like to suggest , Sir is to have a free job fairs and have more scholarship programs for the out of school youth and indigent people.

Please understand that I'm doing this to all my fellow Filipino. Thank you Mr.President in advance for your consideration of this request. I look forward to your prompt response.
